Job summary

DBS Bank in Singapore seeks a Securities Reference Data Control Specialist to maintain bond and issuer static data across Treasury systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates. You will collaborate with Treasury dealers, RM, and finance teams to resolve issues, perform root-cause analyses, and drive STP improvements.

The role emphasizes data governance, UAT ownership, and documenting processes in line with Group standards. Strong Murex experience and Bloomberg familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in bond settlement or securities reference data control.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal and custodian systems is beneficial.
• Expert proficiency in Murex with knowledge of AXE, MLC, UBIX, FinIQ and ILMS.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain bond & issuer label configurations across core Treasury systems (SDWT, Murex, Front Arena, CORE).
• Ensure timely creation and maintenance of static data requests within SLAs.
• Bridge data between Bloomberg and custodian sources to maintain bond attributes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for risk items and identify data integrity improvements.
• Liaise with Treasury dealers, Relationship Managers, Finance and processing teams to resolve data issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve STP and operational efficiency; document processes.
• Own UAT for static data requirements and ensure documentation aligns with Group standards.
