Job summary

TUMCREATE invites researchers to join its QUASAR team to advance secure OS on a quantum safe RISC-V platform. You will integrate GyroidOS into a PQC-ready system and evaluate secure boot, attestation, and hardware accelerators in a cutting-edge research environment.

The fixed-term contract runs until March 2029, with opportunities to publish, present at conferences, and collaborate with IC design and security experts across an international team.

Qualifications

• Experience in secure operating systems or embedded security.
• Strong research track record in security or OS design.
• Publications in top conferences/journals are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate GyroidOS into a quantum-safe RISC-V platform.
• Research PQC impact on secure OS concepts like secure boot and attestation.
• Benchmark hardware accelerators for overall system performance.
• Publish findings and present at international conferences and stakeholder meetings.
