Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd seeks a Section Head of Operations to lead a lean team of 3–4 in end-to-end trade finance and loan operations for the Singapore branch. You will oversee daily operations, review transactions, and drive KPI performance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in trade finance/loan operations with strong communication and stakeholder management; Mandarin ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in trade finance and loan operations.
• Some team management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are required.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a lean team of 3–4 to perform end-to-end trade finance and loan operations for the Singapore branch.
• Oversee daily trade finance and loan operations activities.
• Review and approve transactions; track KPIs/SLAs.
• Handle reconciliations, reporting, and maintenance of SOPs.
• Drive process and risk improvements; lead projects and BCM exercises; coach staff.

A Corporate Banking client is seeking a Section Head of Operations to join the team.

In this role, you will lead a lean team of 3-4 pax to perform for full trade finance & loan operations function end-to-end for the Singapore branch. You'll oversee daily trade finance, loan operations, review and approve transactions, track KPIs/SLAs, handle reconciliations and reporting, maintain SOPs, drive process/risk improvements, and lead projects and BCM exercises while coaching staff.

The ideal candidate comes with at least 10 years' relevant experience in trade finance/loan operations experience preferably with some team management experience. Strong hands on knowledge on the relevant operational processes, strong communication and stakeholder management skills to be able to lead the team to success. Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin would be an advantage, as the role involves communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders on trade finance and loan operations matters.
