Qualifications

• French Ministry of Education tenure or equivalent (education background)
• Complementary certification 2CA-SH, CAPPEI required
• Experience in adapted teaching for children with disabilities
• Middle and high school experience, RASED/ULIS/SEGPA required
• Knowledge of French education system and handicap handling mechanisms
• Organisational and interpersonal skills
• Reactive and available
• Adaptable and benevolent
• Very good written and oral communication
• Strong teamwork and project commitment
• Mastery of digital tools
• Ability to adapt to non-French speaking students
• Ability to teach a diverse range of students
• Transversal and multidisciplinary collaboration
• English proficiency at least B1 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead tutor for secondary students and manage PAP/PPS plans
• Assist students within GAIN in pairs or small groups
• Track student progress with GAIN and Educational management
• Attend educational team and weekly management meetings
• Support teachers in analysing difficulties and developing responses
• Support differentiated classroom teaching and group planning
• Design and implement methods to assess learning outcomes
• Identify needs to support transition to secondary education
• Promote student socialisation within the school
• Welcome and inform students' parents
• Contribute to school operations and teamwork
• Utilise ICT to support learning
