Job summary

Mitti Labs Limited is seeking a Head of Policy, South East Asia to lead regulatory engagement and market-entry efforts for rice methane credits across SEA, Singapore and Japan. The role blends technical policy work with commercial outcomes, requiring fluency in Article 6 mechanics and strong stakeholder diplomacy.

You will coordinate LoA authorisations, align with national development and environmental integrity criteria, and drive partnerships with ministries, IRRI, ADB and buyers to unlock

Qualifications

• Experience in carbon markets, climate policy or environmental governance in SEA.
• Ability to distill complex regulation into strategic insight.
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluent cross-cultural communication.
• Track record of obtaining authorisations or engaging with government bodies.

Responsibilities

• Develop market-entry strategy and country sequencing for SEA markets.
• Identify decision-makers and drive LoA applications with stakeholders.
• Represent Mitti at policy forums and build regional partnerships.
• Support demand-side access to Mitti credits in CORSIA, Singapore, JCM/GX-ETS.
• Scan policy developments and align dMRV stack with regulatory changes.
