Job summary

Mitti Labs Limited is seeking a Head of Policy, South East Asia to lead complex carbon-market entry efforts across SEA. You will work with the C-suite and country heads to secure host-country authorisations, develop regulatory blueprints, and build buyer pipelines for rice methane credits in Singapore, Japan and international markets.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years in carbon markets or climate policy with SEA experience.
• Strong understanding of Article 6 mechanics and related regimes.
• Proven ability to secure host-country authorisations or analogous approvals.
• Experience navigating multi-stakeholder government environments regionally.
• Excellent written and spoken English with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Shape market-entry strategy across SEA, prioritising countries and pathways.
• Drive LoA applications with government decision-makers, aligning with NDCs.
• Represent Mitti at policy forums, ministerial roundtables, COP/SB events.
• Support how Mitti credits qualify under CORSIA, Singapore and JCM/GX-ETS.
• Track regulatory changes and advise on pricing and contracting effects.
