Job summary

Eastrong Intl Logistics (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced freight forwarder to independently manage daily sea freight operations from end to end. You will support the Freight Manager and coordinate bookings, pricing, and cargo tracking to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires strong Chinese and English communication, at least three years of local freight forwarding experience in Singapore, and collaboration with overseas agents, customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years local freight forwarding experience in Singapore.
• Proficient in English and Chinese communication.
• Familiar with booking to carrier, pricing, customs clearance and shipment tracking.
• RFQ sourcing for LCL, FCL and Air shipments.
• Independent handling of daily sea freight operations from end to end.

Job description

1. Able to independently handle daily sea freight operations from end to end. Support Freight Manager in managing daily operational duties.

2. Good communication skills and problem-solving ability, familiar with booking to carrier, pricing, customs clearance and shipment tracking. Sourcing and handling RFQ for LCL, FCL and Air shipments.

3. Liaise with overseas agents, customers and vendors. Coordinated with shipowners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of cargoes and smooth loading operations

4. 3 years above local freight forwarding experience in Singapore.

5. Proficient in both Chinese and English communication.

6. Annual salary 13 months.

7. 5 working days per week.

8. Providing annual leave and company insurance.

9. Nearest MRT/location: Downtown line nearby Telok Ayer; East-west line nearby Tanjong Pagar.

10. Accept Singaporean and Permanent Resident only.
