Job summary

Fugro is seeking a SEA Finance Lead to oversee financial governance across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam. You will partner with country management and regional teams to ensure timely closing, reporting, and compliance with group policies.

You will lead the local SEA Finance team, drive internal controls, and coordinate statutory reporting with external auditors, while supporting tax compliance and business decision-making across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience across multiple countries with leadership exposure.
• Auditing experience is a plus.
• Strong people management and development skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proactive and analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with IFS ERP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead country controllership across SEA legal entities in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with SEA Tax Manager on tax compliance and transfer pricing.
• Support revenue recognition, project accounting, and working capital actions.
• Provide financial governance advice to General Managers and country management.
