We are seeking a responsible and organised Science Laboratory Executive to provide laboratory, teaching and administrative support in a school.
Job Description
Prepare and organise Science teaching resources, materials and laboratory equipment for lessons and programmes.
Maintain records, loan records and stock of Science resources, equipment, chemicals and materials.
Ensure Science rooms and laboratory equipment are clean, organised and in good working condition.
Conduct stock-takes, maintain stock and breakage records, and arrange replacements when required.
Support laboratory safety, including waste disposal, first aid and safety equipment checks, and incident records.
Provide administrative support for Science programmes, assessments, competitions and STEM/Sustainability projects, including safety briefings and digital resources.
Assist with laboratory safety briefings and equipment awareness sessions, and perform other duties assigned by the school.
Requirements
Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec (ITE) in Science, related field or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant Science laboratory and administrative experience in a school.
Experience with Science programmes, STEM/Sustainability projects and laboratory lessons preferred.
Proficient in laboratory equipment preparation and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal, communication, planning and organisational skills. Primary school experience is preferred.
Basic first aid knowledge preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break.
