Job summary

SUNNYHILL ACE PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive school support assistant to manage science room operations, prepare materials, and assist teachers with experiments and Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). The role emphasizes safe lab setup and hands-on learning support.

You will also handle inventory, maintenance of science rooms, eco-gardening tasks, front desk duties, data entry, and coordination for school programs. Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with English communication required.

Qualifications

• Experience with school science laboratory setup and safety.
• GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Hands-on gardening or plant care experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and resources for classes and science CCA.
• Oversee stock counts, purchase supplies, and maintain two science rooms.
• Support eco-gardening including planting plots and green walls.
• Assist General Office with front desk, calls, data entry and filing.
• Render logistical support for recycling programs and enrichment activities.

Roles & Responsibilities

Your daily scope of services will include:

• Science Room Operations: Work closely with teachers to prepare physical materials, experiments, and resources in advance for classes and science Co-Curricular Activities (CCA).
• Inventory & Maintenance: Oversee stock counts, purchase experiment supplies, clean two designated Science rooms, and conduct regular checks to ensure lab apparatus is working safely.
• Eco-Gardening & Planting: Care for school eco-features including planting plots, the vertical green wall located at the rainwater harvesting tank, and the indoor glass enclosure.
• General Office Support: Assist the school General Office with front desk customer service, answering phone calls, handling data entry, filing records, and distributing school materials.
• Ad-hoc School Programs: Render logistical support during school recycling programs, student enrichment activities, and tasks assigned by department heads.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.7:30 AM to 2:00 PM: Dedicated to Science Laboratory duties (Includes a 30-minute lunch break).2:00 PM to 4:30 PM: Dedicated to General Office administrative support.
• Rest Days: Off on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with school science laboratory apparatus and experiment setup.
• Specialized Skill: Practical hands-on gardening or plant care experience.
• Soft Skills: Pleasant counter personality, clear English writing/communication skills, and the resilience to work well under pressure.
