Job summary

SUNNYHILL ACE PTE. LTD. invites a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support daily science activities in our school laboratory in Singapore.

You will prepare apparatus, materials, and setups for experiments and assist teachers during lessons. In addition, you will manage inventory, logs, and safety procedures, handle front desk duties, and greet parents and students. The role requires at least 1 year in a school lab and basic Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: GCE O-Level certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school laboratory or relevant science environment.
• Technical skills: Competency in basic Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (must be indicated on CV).
• Preferred certifications: First-Aid training or certification is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

Your daily scope of services will include:

• Laboratory Operations & Lesson Support: Prepare apparatus, materials, and setups required for daily Science experiments and activities. Provide hands-on support to coordinators and teachers during lessons.
• Inventory & Procurement: Manage laboratory inventory, maintain precise safety and equipment logs, and proactively order or replenish scientific supplies.
• General Workplace Safety: Enforce and strictly adhere to basic school and workplace laboratory safety protocols.
• Front Desk & Administrative Support: Provide front desk coverage during times when lab duties are clear. Greet parents, students, and visitors warmly, handle telephone inquiries, and perform basic administrative tasks.

Working Hours

• Full-Time hours tailored to standard school operation schedules.
• Specific daily timings will be confirmed during the interview process.
• Rest days apply on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays.

Job Requirements
