Job summary

VINAYAK ENGINEERING & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a competent Science Laboratory Assistant to support the School's Science Department. You will help maintain laboratories and prepare experimental setups for lab work, ensuring safe and orderly operations.

The role requires at least 4 years in a secondary school chemistry lab, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Qualifications

• GCE 'N' Level Certificate or equivalent; education certification may be offset with relevant work experience.
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and in a team.
• Ability to carry out routine tasks in a non air-conditioned environment.
• At least 4 years of working experience in a secondary school chemistry lab.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Science Department in maintaining the school's science laboratories.
• Preparing experimental set-ups for laboratory work.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of science laboratories.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the HOD or School STEM Instructors.
