Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a part-time School Science Laboratory Technician & Administrative Assistant. The role is on-site, with work during school terms and hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities include lab preparation, lesson support, safety compliance, inventory, admin tasks, and event logistics. Requirements include at least 3 O-Levels and 2 years in similar roles within a primary school environment.

Qualifications

Education: GCE 'O' Levels with at least 3 passes.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in lab technician or admin duties in primary school environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) for resource creation and data management.
Knowledge: Foundations of Singapore Primary Science and Primary Mathematics concepts.
Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and workspace.

Responsibilities

Laboratory preparation, setup, and cleanup for Primary Science and Mathematics lessons; maintain cleanliness and readiness of labs and storage areas.
Assist teachers during practical classes with materials, consumables, and safe classroom conduct.
Safety & Compliance: store, label, and handle equipment and chemicals per safety procedures; inspect tools for wear and arrange repairs.
Inventory Management: conduct regular stock checks, source quotations, and assist in purchasing laboratory supplies.
General Administrative Duties: support teachers with resource prep, data entry, temperature taking when required, and managing food waste recycling logistics.
Event Logistics: provide administrative and logistical support for school-wide science programmes, exhibitions, and events.
