Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated school support assistant to help teachers in Science and related activities at our partner school in Singapore. You will prepare equipment, assist during demonstrations, and help manage learning resources to run engaging practical lessons.

You will also support after‑school programs, garden maintenance, and general upkeep of Science rooms, with potential additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up apparatus and resources for Science practical lessons.
• Be present during practical lessons and support teacher during lab demonstration or group work.
• Facilitate activities in small groups and monitor resources.
• Record items that need to be purchased for budget planning.
• Carry out stock take of apparatus/materials and inform replenishment needs.
• Spruce up the Science rooms with displays of charts and student work.
• Support Math and Science Departments in after-school lessons for Olympiad and E2K programme.
• Prepare teaching resources (cutting, lamination, signage for Science garden, seed kits by class).
• Accompany students for learning journeys.
• School Garden Maintenance (watering plants, composting, hydroponics).
• Cleaning and Maintenance of Science Rooms.
• To support any work requirements beyond stipulated hours; duties to be communicated and agreed upon.
