Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable Science Lab Assistant to prepare equipment and materials for P3 to P6 experiments, following department worksheets. You will maintain lab spaces, manage stock, and assist teachers during lessons.

Responsibilities include stocking and organizing learning materials, maintaining the Eco-pond and habitat tanks, and performing morning safety duties. Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

• Prepare all laboratory equipment, materials and set-ups for P3 to P6 Science experiments as per worksheets or resources.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of required lab lessons for P3 to P6 classes.
• Suggest alternatives or alterations to lab set-ups to improve learning.
• Maintain and perform regular stock-takes of items in the Science lab inventory and arrange replacement items with the Science department.
• Ensure neatness and cleanliness of the labs at all times.
• Support Science teachers in facilitating laboratory lessons for a safe learning environment.
• Maintain and care for Eco-pond and habitat tanks (Mangrove, Marine, Stick Insect tanks).
• Stock-take learning materials issued to teachers at the start and end of the academic year.
• Morning duties to ensure student safety; perform any ad-hoc duties as requested.
