Job summary

WSH EXPERTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a proactive school support staff member to assist Mathematics and Science departments.

You will prepare science apparatus for experiments and ensure equipment is stored after lessons, helping teachers with setup and materials. You will also pack resources, perform simple maintenance on equipment, create basic manipulatives, photograph activities, and support stock control and administrative tasks as directed by the science and mathematics teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Science apparatus for experiments
• Keep Science apparatus after lessons
• Pack Mathematics and Science resources neatly in Mathematics cupboards and in Science laboratories respectively
• Perform simple, non-technical repairs and minor maintenance of equipment and teaching aids (e.g., attaching loose parts, tightening fittings, replacing simple components and repairing storage/resource materials)
• Work with teachers to create simple main manipulatives and/or any other materials as required in support of Math and Science programmes
• Support photo-taking for Mathematics and Science programmes and activities and the development of teaching and learning resources
• Support Mathematics and Science Departments in preparation for recess activities
• Work with teachers to take simple Mathematics and/or Science teaching videos for use as teaching and learning resources
• Provide administrative support as deployed by the school
• Assist the HOD/Science and HOD/Mathematics to develop a stocklist, conduct stocktaking, and maintain the stock list
• Organise the return and collection of Mathematics and Science desk copies by teachers
