Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a School Science Lab Assistant in Singapore to support science lessons by preparing materials, maintaining lab facilities, and assisting students with apparatus.

The role requires PSLE English pass and at least two years of experience in a school context as a science lab assistant, with responsibilities spanning both indoor and outdoor facilities and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• PSLE English pass is required.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a school as a science lab assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare teaching materials and learning activities based on Primary Science syllabus as requested by teachers.
• Assist students in using apparatus as directed.
• Assist in preparing training materials for students, parents and staff.
• Assist in preparing apparatus, equipment and reagents for laboratory lessons.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Science Rooms and preparation room.
• Maintain apparatus in the Science Labs/Rooms.
• Maintain outdoor Science facilities and equipment including ponds, garden, hydroponics, and Integrated Farming Systems (IFS); aquaponics.
• Clean and operate food waste system and farming systems.
• Maintain stock check/inventory system for resources and lab equipment on a termly basis.
• Any other admin tasks or facility maintenance duties as assigned by the Authority

• Assiststudents in the use of certain apparatus, as directed.
• Assistin preparing training materials to students, parents and staff, as directed.
• Assistin the preparation of apparatus, equipment and reagents for laboratory lessons.
• Maintainthe cleanliness of the two Science Rooms, including the preparation room.
• Maintainapparatus in the Science Labs/ Rooms.
• Maintainoutdoor Science facilties and equipment in the school (including the ponds,garden, hydroponics system and Integrated Farming Systems (IFS); aquaponics).
• Cleanand operate food waste system and farming systems (e.g. Integrated Farmingsystem, aeroponics and hydroponics systems)
• Maintainstock check/ inventory system (e.g, T & L resources, lab equipments,Sparkle Kits, etc) on a termly basis.

Any other administrative task or indoor/outdoor science facilities andequipment maintenance related duties as assigned by the Authority

Qualifications and experience as follow:

• At least a pass in PSLE English.
• At leasttwo years of working experience in school context as a science lab assistant.
