Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Science Lab Assistant to support teaching staff by preparing materials and assisting students with laboratory activities. Requirements include a PSLE English pass and at least two years of school-based lab experience.

Qualifications

• Pass in PSLE English.
• At least two years of working experience in school context as a science lab assistant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare teaching materials and learning activities based on Primary Science syllabus as requested by teachers.
• Assist students in using apparatus as directed.
• Prepare training materials for students, parents and staff as directed.
• Prepare apparatus, equipment and reagents for laboratory lessons.
• Maintain cleanliness of the two Science Rooms and the preparation room.
• Maintain apparatus in the Science Labs/Rooms.
• Maintain outdoor Science facilities and equipment (ponds, garden, hydroponics, IFS; aquaponics).
• Clean and operate food waste system and farming systems.
• Maintain stock check/inventory (T & L resources, lab equipment, Sparkle Kits) termly.
• Perform any other administrative tasks or lab facility maintenance duties as assigned by the Authority.
