Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a School Attendant (Operations) to support the Operations Manager in security, cleaning, and logistics for school activities in Singapore.

The role involves gate duty, traffic control, ensuring rooms and equipment are secured, and assisting with events. The incumbent may work on weekends and cover duties until 9:00pm on certain days, with start times adjusted accordingly. Prior experience with security alarm systems and at least one year in a school setting are

Qualifications

• Experience with security alarm systems preferred.
• At least 1 year in a school environment preferred.
• Experience performing similar duties.

Responsibilities

• General Security and Safety: Gate duty and traffic management.
• Checking and ensuring that users exit by expiry of bookings.
• Ensuring doors and electrical appliances are off/locked before leaving.
• Disarm/arm security alarm in morning/evening as required.
• Cleaning duties to support general cleanliness.
• Logistics support for school programmes and events.
• Work on weekends to support operations when needed.
• Cover duties till 9.00pm on certain days with adjusted start time.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Operations Manager.

Job description

School Attendant (Operations)

Support Operations Manager in the key areas of School's operations, which include:

1. 1. General Security and Safety:
   • a. Gate duty and traffic management
   • b. Checking and ensuring that user(s) of school facilities duly exit School by the expiry of the scheduled booking slot(s).
   • c. Checking and ensuring that the doors of all rooms, school gates and all-electrical appliances are turned off or locked before leaving School at the end of duty hours.
   • d. Disarm the School's security alarm system in the morning.
   • e. Arming the School's security alarm system before leaving School at the end of duty hours.
2. 2. Cleaning duties to support School's general cleanliness, including:
   • a. Cleaning of rooms as assigned by Operations Manager.
   • b. Clearing the waste bins and disposal of rubbish from the assigned rooms.
3. 3. Logistics support for school programmes and events (e.g. assist security guard to maintain traffic control during big events, arrange tables for school examinations, etc).
4. 4. Will be required to work on weekends to support school operations when need arises.
5. 5. Required to cover duties till 9.00pm on certain days, with start time adjusted accordingly.
6. 6. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Operations Manager

Qualification, Skill & Experience

of the Contractor's Personnel

The Personnel shall have the following skills and experience:

1. 1. Preferably has experience in the use of security alarm system.
2. 2. Preferably has one year of experience working in a school environment.
3. Has at least one year of experience in performing similar set of services
