Job summary

BaseCamp Digital seeks an experienced SAP Testing Lead to own end-to-end testing strategy, execution and governance for a large SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will lead SIT, UAT, regression, performance and security testing, ensuring quality assurance and go-live readiness.

The role requires 10+ years in SAP testing with leadership experience and hands-on work across multiple S/4HANA deployments, with strong governance and data-masking capabilities. Contract position in Singapore, 1 year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP testing experience with 5+ years in a Test Lead / Test Manager role.
• Led at least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with end-to-end testing ownership.
• Strong experience across SIT, UAT, regression, performance and security testing.
• Proven governance, defect management and requirements traceability.
• Experience with SAP testing tools (Solution Manager, Tricentis, CBTA).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and data masking for sensitive info.
• Ability to coordinate performance and security testing; manage test environments.
• Audit/compliance or governance experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own overall test strategy and test plan for SAP S/4HANA project.
• Establish test governance, entry/exit criteria, defect management, traceability.
• Manage test data including masked data for sensitive projects.
• Coordinate UAT with business users and defect triage cycles.
• Lead performance/load testing with technical teams; coordinate security testing.
• Manage test environments and testing cycles with SAP Basis and teams.
• Define and manage test automation approach where applicable.
• Produce test status reports and quality metrics to support go/no-go decisions.
• Ensure testing artefacts meet audit, quality and acceptance criteria.

SAP Testing Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing Lead to own the end-to-end testing strategy, execution and governance for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation.

The successful candidate will lead SIT, UAT, regression, performance and security testing, ensuring effective test governance, quality assurance and readiness for go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall test strategy and test plan covering unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, performance, security and cutover/mock testing.
• Establish test governance, including entry/exit criteria, defect management and requirements-to-test-case traceability.
• Manage test data, including appropriate masked and representative data for projects involving sensitive information.
• Coordinate UAT with business users and manage defect triage, retesting and sign-off cycles.
• Lead performance and load testing activities in collaboration with technical teams, and coordinate security/penetration testing.
• Manage test environments and testing cycles with SAP Basis and relevant technical teams.
• Define and manage the test automation approach, where applicable.
• Produce test status reports, quality metrics and recommendations to support go/no-go decisions.
• Ensure all testing documentation and artefacts meet agreed audit, quality and acceptance criteria.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of SAP testing experience, with at least 5 years in a Test Lead / Test Manager capacity.
• Experience leading at least two full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with ownership of end-to-end testing delivery.
• Strong experience across SIT, UAT, regression, performance and security testing.
• Proven experience in test strategy, governance, defect management and requirements traceability.
• Experience with SAP testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager Test Suite, Tricentis, CBTA or equivalent.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of test data management and data masking for sensitive information.
• Experience coordinating performance testing, security testing and test-environment scheduling.
• Experience working within structured audit, compliance or governance environments is advantageous.

Qualifications & Certifications

Required:

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification.
• SAP Activate awareness.

Preferred:

• ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager certification.
• SAP or Tricentis testing-tool certification.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Security-awareness certification.
• Prior experience working in environments requiring security clearance or heightened data confidentiality.
