Job summary

AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect to own the end-to-end technical architecture for the DSO S/4HANA solution, covering platform, infrastructure, integration, security and deployment topology.

The role requires defining a defence-oriented deployment strategy and strong governance of integration and security design. You will lead platform selection (SAP Integration Suite / PI-PO), APIs and data interfaces, while ensuring high security and compliance with

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP S/4HANA technical experience including architecture, integration and security.
• 5+ years as a technical architect on SAP projects.
• Experience with on-premise or air-gapped deployments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns the end-to-end technical architecture for S/4HANA, including platform, infrastructure, integration, security and deployment topology.
• Define deployment topology for defence context – on-premise, air-gapped or sovereign hosting.
• Own integration architecture and platform selection (SAP Integration Suite / PI-PO, APIs, OData, IDoc/BAPI).
• Define security architecture – encryption, key management, IAM, hardening to client standards.
• Govern transport strategy, DevOps/CI-CD, and system-copy/refresh with Basis.
• Own non-functional requirements – performance, scalability, availability and testing strategy.
• Define data-migration architecture and cutover runbook with Basis and data workstreams.
• Provide technical design assurance and sign-off against acceptance criteria.

Job Description

Owns the end-to-end technical architecture -platform, infrastructure, integration, security and deployment topology - for the DSO S/4HANA solution, including on-premise / air-gapped constraints.

Project Responsibilities

• Own the S/4HANA technical architecture: system landscape (Dev/QA/Prod plus sandbox/training), HANA database, sizing, high-availability and disaster-recovery design.
• Define the deployment topology for a defence context -on-premise / air-gapped or client-mandated sovereign hosting, network segmentation and classified-handling architecture.
• Own integration architecture and platform selection(SAP Integration Suite / PI-PO, APIs, OData, IDoc/BAPI), aligned to the Solution Architect's functional design.
• Define the security architecture - encryption, key management, identity and access, and hardening to IM8 or client-mandated standards.
• Govern the transport strategy, DevOps / CI-CD where applicable, and system-copy / refresh approach with Basis.
• Own non-functional requirements - performance, scalability and availability - and the performance-test strategy with Testing.
• Define the data-migration technical architecture and the cutover technical runbook with Basis and the data workstream.
• Provide technical design assurance and sign-off against the acceptance criteria.

Relevant SAP Implementation Experience

Minimum: 12+years SAP technical experience, of which 5+ years as a technical architect, with at least two S/4HANA implementations owning landscape, integration and security architecture , ideally including on-premise or air-gapped deployments.

Relevant Expertise

• Platform: S/4HANA on HANA, landscape design, HA/DR, sizing, and on-premise / air-gapped / sovereign-cloud topologies.
• Integration: SAP Integration Suite / PI-PO, API management, event-driven integration and legacy interfacing.
