Job summary

ERNST & YOUNG ADVISORY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced SAP Finance consultant to implement and support Record-to-Report processes across GL, AR, AP, FA, and financial reporting.

You will gather requirements, configure FM modules, and drive period-end closes, with a focus on controls and data integrity. The role requires 5–15 years of SAP Finance consulting, strong knowledge of RTR, FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance, and participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, business, IT or related field with 5–15 years of SAP Finance consulting experience
• Proven experience in SAP RTR processes including GL, AR, AP, FA, Bank Accounting, Financial Closing and Reporting
• Participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations from requirements to go-live and post-production support
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, controls, statutory and management reporting, and close processes
• Experience writing functional specs, managing testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), data migration, and collaborating with technical teams
• Ability to facilitate finance workshops, engage stakeholders, analyse requirements, and translate into SAP solutions
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP Finance and Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory and Project Systems

Role Summary: Responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Finance Record-to-Report processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with 5-15 years of relevant SAP Finance consulting experience; SAP certification(s) in SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, or related modules are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in SAP Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, Financial Closing, and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial controls, statutory reporting, management reporting, period-end and year-end close processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, managing testing activities (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), supporting finance data migration, and collaborating with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and integrations.
• Proven ability to facilitate finance workshops, engage business stakeholders, analyse business requirements, and translate them into SAP solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP Finance and adjacent functional areas such as Procurement (Source-to-Pay), Sales (Order-to-Cash), Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Project Systems.
