Job summary

ERNST & YOUNG ADVISORY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced SAP Finance consultant to implement and optimize SAP Finance processes (FI/CO) within large, multi–functional finance environments.

You will gather requirements, configure GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Financial Closing, run tests, support data migration, and help coordinate integrations with procurement, sales, and manufacturing. A strong background in end-to-end SAP implementations and FI/CO/S4HANA certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with 5-15 years of relevant SAP Finance consulting experience; SAP certification(s) in SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, or related modules are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in SAP Finance processes, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, Financial Closing, and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial controls, statutory reporting, management reporting, period-end and year-end close processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, managing testing activities (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), supporting finance data migration, and collaborating with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and integrations.
• Proven ability to facilitate finance workshops, engage business stakeholders, analyse business requirements, and translate them into SAP solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP Finance and adjacent functional areas such as Procurement (Source-to-Pay), Sales (Order-to-Cash), Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Project Systems.
