Job summary

Labcorp in Singapore is seeking a Sample Coordinator to join our Bioanalytical team. You will coordinate receipt, tracking, processing and documentation of clinical trial samples to ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science and internship experience in a diagnostic or analytical lab, with a focus on accuracy, independence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science from an accredited college or university.
• 3 months or more internship exposure in commercial/diagnostic/analytical laboratories.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trials and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, tracking, processing, shipment and documentation of clinical trial samples to ensure they are handled according to study protocols, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Receive, accession, track, label, store, ship and dispose of clinical samples.
• Verify sample inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate sample receipt status and manage sample-related documentation.
• Sample tracking, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordination of sample logging and receipt confirmation activities.
• Maintain study records, laboratory documentation and department logbooks.
• Manage reference materials and matrices inventory.
• Support after-hours sample receipt and environmental monitoring activities.
• Support project activities, process improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
