Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Salesforce developer to deliver robust solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will lead design, implementation, deployment and documentation, acting as a technical lead across projects.

You will collaborate with Digital Center of Excellence, CRM and Back-End teams to create cutting-edge experiences, write Apex/Lightning Web Components, and ensure quality through unit testing and thorough requirements analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, MIS or related field.
• 4+ years Salesforce development experience (Certified Salesforce Developer preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes/triggers.
• Proven success with multiple Salesforce migration/integration projects.
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, deployment and documentation of Salesforce projects.
• Serve as SME for solution architecture, including configuration, development and integration.
• Act as technical lead for Salesforce initiatives and LWC/Lightning work.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform.
• Take a lead role in the design, implementation, deployment and documentation of projects that leverage the Salesforce.com toolset.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration and customization of complex environments.
• Serve as technical lead for Salesforce projects.
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with our Digital Center of Excellence, CRM and Back-End Development teams to create cutting-edge experiences for our institutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (develop code, custom objects, LWC, Visual Force pages, Apex, reports, workflows and assignment rules).
• Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming language, Visual Force, Lightning Web Components.
• Create and maintain lighting community templates, lightning web components and flows.
• Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs.
• Perform unit testing and defect fixes.
• Liaise with internal clients and users to understand their business needs in developing solutionsthrough Salesforce.
• Juggle multiple projects involving various end users, meet deadlines and proactively communicate status updates.
• Demonstrate calm under pressure and be a proactive contributor with an eagerness to learn.
• Ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field is preferred.
• Min 4+ years previous development experience with Salesforce (Certified Salesforce Developer preferred).
• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
• Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers.
• Demonstrative success with multiple Salesforce migration/integration projects.
• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both customers, leadership, and technical teams.
