Position Overview
As a Sales & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business development while managing and expanding relationships with existing Japanese corporate clients.
This is a consultative sales role where you will identify clients' recruitment and HR challenges, propose suitable recruitment and HR solutions, and contribute to the company's business growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of new job orders secured
- Placement revenue generated through recruitment services
- Gross profit generated from HR solution services
Sales Activities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, referrals, and other business development activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups.
- Understand clients' business objectives, recruitment needs, and HR challenges.
- Propose suitable recruitment services and HR solutions based on clients' needs.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements with clients.
Recruitment Services
- Proactively approach prospective clients to secure new recruitment assignments.
- Conduct detailed job requirement consultations with clients.
- Gather hiring requirements and recruitment background, and brief internal Recruitment Consultants accordingly.
- Manage the overall recruitment process from job acquisition through successful placement as the client's main point of contact.
- Coordinate closely with clients and internal Recruitment Consultants throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure successful placements and long‑term client relationships.
HR Solution Services
- Promote HR consulting, payroll outsourcing, employee handbook and employment contract services, corporate training, and other HR solutions.
- Conduct follow‑up discussions and close sales opportunities.
- Monitor project progress after contract award.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external business partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage client communications throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Marketing Activities
- Plan and execute sales and marketing initiatives to generate new business leads.
- Organize and coordinate newsletters, seminars, webinars, and other marketing events.
Mandatory Requirements
- Business‑level proficiency in Japanese (required for daily communication with Japanese‑speaking clients and collaboration with our headquarters in Japan).
- Business‑level proficiency in English (required for daily communication with English‑speaking clients, partners, and colleagues).
- Experience in B2B sales (preferably selling intangible services) or corporate account management.
- Strong interest in recruitment, HR, and people‑related business.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience in the recruitment or staffing industry.
- Experience selling HR‑related services.
- Experience in consultative or solution‑based sales.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore employment practices and labor regulations.
