Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, Business or Marketing or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven sales experience in machinery equipment sales within automation, SMT, semiconductor, or electronics manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Asia market to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify, target, and secure new customers and accounts; manage a network of sales representatives, agents, and distributors.

Sales Manager - ASYS Group Asia Pte Ltd

ASYS Group is a leading German manufacturer of innovative automation equipment, with a robust global presence through regional offices and sales networks worldwide. We are expanding our dynamic Asia team and are seeking a talented Sales Manager to drive our growth in Asia market. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse, international team across Europe, the Americas, and Asia to deliver exceptional solutions for both local and global customers.

This is a regional position that requires monthly travel within the assigned countries.

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our business development and sales efforts in Asia. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing the sale strategy, managing key accounts, and expanding our footprint within the thriving electronics manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter and farmer, capable of building strong relationships and driving the entire sales cycle to achieve and exceed targets.

Compensation Package

• Position and Location: Sales Manager, Singapore
• Salary Range: SGD 4000 to 6000 gross monthly

Roles & Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Asia market to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets. Create individual sales forecasts and manage the sales pipeline effectively. Handle the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.
• Business Development & Growth: Proactively identify, target, and secure new customers and accounts. Recruit, manage, and develop a network of Sales Representatives, Agents, and Distributors. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and refine sales approaches.
• Customer Relationship Management: Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business. Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their success. Collaborate with the Service Support and technical teams to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with global sales, technical, and after-sales teams to align strategies and share customer insights. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to Associate Sales Director.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Good sales background and has experience in selling machinery equipment
• Technical Skills: Comfortable working with CRM systems and highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Organization & Detail: Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
• Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to customers. Comfortable operating in a cross-border business environment and collaborating with international teams.
• Mindset: Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets with a results-driven mindset.
