Flotech Controls Pte Ltd, founded in 1982, delivers instrumentation, automation and industrial IoT solutions for water infrastructure and industrial applications. We seek a technical sales professional to develop opportunities for smart valve actuators and integrated remote valve control systems.

You will work with customers and our technical team to tailor solutions combining actuators, sensors, telemetry and SCADA connectivity to improve operational efficiency and control, including product

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant technical sales or application engineering experience, preferably involving valve actuators, valves, instrumentation or industrial automation.
• An understanding of valve operation, actuator sizing and control systems would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, industrial communications or IoT solutions would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• A proactive approach, sound technical curiosity and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to visit customer sites and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities with utilities, industrial end users, consultants, contractors and system integrators.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable valve actuator and control solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and site visits.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, tender submissions and commercial offers.
• Work with the engineering team on actuator selection, valve compatibility, control requirements and system integration.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage opportunities from initial enquiry through order confirmation and project handover.
• Maintain sales forecasts, monitor market developments and work towards agreed sales targets.
• Coordinate technical support and after-sales follow-up with internal teams.
