Job summary

WECOM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth in the marine, oil and gas sectors from Singapore.

You will combine marketing strategy with technical know-how to win new customers and support existing accounts. Responsibilities include developing local and international sales plans, evaluating valve-related service solutions, and preparing cost estimates and proposals for projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop local and international sales plans to acquire customers.
• Provide technical expertise and support regarding valve products and repair service solutions.
• Assess faulty industrial valves (gate, globe, control, safety) and recommend service solutions.
• Formulate marketing activities and policies for promoting company's services.
• Gather market information and provide improvement recommendations to achieve global goals.
• Make cold calls, identify potential international clients, generate leads, and write reports.
• Communicate with the purchasing department and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes by negotiation.
• Liaise with QA/QC, Production and Purchasing to collect project information and data.
• Prepare technical proposals including statements of estimated costs and time.
