Job summary

LEE SENG HARDWARE AND MACHINERY PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the Tagore North-East Region in a full-time capacity. You will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to identify needs, propose tailored hydraulic solutions, and close deals, driving revenue and customer satisfaction.

You will deliver technical presentations, engage clients, and collaborate with internal teams to design customised solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in a sales or sales engineering role in hardware/machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic products and industrial applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into tailored product solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers; conduct needs assessments to understand objectives.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Provide expert technical guidance and translate features into business benefits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design customised hardware and machinery solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and technical documentation for the sales process.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and identify upsell opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate operations and recommend solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
• Track sales metrics and maintain accurate customer records and reports.
• Attend industry events to generate leads and enhance market presence.
