Sales Engineer - Airside

Job summary

Trane Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to promote airside products to building owners, consultants and contractors, with a focus on expanding market share and strengthening long-term customer relationships. The role requires 1–2 years in engineering sales and is ideal for candidates with HVAC exposure who are customer‑driven.

The position is on-site five days a week, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent.
• 1-2 years in Engineering sales.
• Experience in HVAC industry will be a plus.
• Customer driven with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with the relevant education qualifications but no prior work experience is welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Promote and propose Trane airside products to building owners, consultants and contractors.
• Increase Airside sales and penetrate this market to gain more market share.
• Responsible for developing long term customer relationships.
• Building close business relationship with customers especially key accounts.
• Maximizing account penetration and customer retention.
• Identify potential opportunities & develop solutions with existing & new customers.
• Update forecast timely into the system.
• Negotiates value, addresses resistance, and close the sales. Differentiates & made Trane as preferred supplier.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
