Job summary

STAR FURNITURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a sales-focused individual to serve walk-in customers and promote showroom products. The role involves maintaining displays and achieving monthly targets, with emphasis on customer service and accurate POS transactions.

Candidates should be bilingual in English and Mandarin, possess basic computer skills, and be a team player with a proactive attitude. Training is provided; this is a permanent, full-time position with high commission incentives.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level or equivalent
• Sales experience welcomed even without qualification
• Experience in furniture retail or interior furnishings is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with customers
• Strong teamwork, responsibility, and self-motivation are required
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Promote company's products through excellent customer service
• Ensure showroom merchandise displays are well maintained
• Achieve monthly sales target
• Process POS transaction

Requirements

• GCE N-Level / O-Level or equivalent
• No qualification but with sales experience are also welcome
• Experience in furniture retail, doors, interior furnishings, or related sales will be an added advantage.
• Must be bilingual in " English and Mandarin" in order to communicate with the English and Mandarin speaking customers
• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and good team player
• Result oriented, independent and experience in customer service and sales
• Self-motivated and good communication skill
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
• Basic salary commensurate with experience
• High commission and special incentive (subject to individual sales performance)
• Training provided for new entry
• Permanent position

Working Schedule

• 5 days week (Two off-days per week, to be taken on weekday)
• 6 days week (One off-day per week, to be taken on weekday)

Showroom working hours:

• Weekdays: 11.00am to 8.00pm / 12.00pm to 9.00pm
• Weekends/PHs: 10.30am to 9.00pm / 11.00am to 9.30pm
