Job summary

CALPEDA ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage end-to-end order flow with customers and suppliers in Singapore. The role includes coordinating shipments, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Candidates should have a Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years in an engineering environment and be proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and SAP systems. Strong communication and negotiation skills are required to maintain good relations with clients

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering environment.
• Microsoft Office & Excel experience.
• Familiar with using SAP System.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating incoming orders with customers and suppliers.
• Liaising with customers for all incoming orders and issuing Purchase Orders.
• Monitoring sales order status and ensuring fulfilment requirements.
• Negotiating with forwarder over rates and coordinating import/export shipments.
• Preparing shipping documents and Letters of Credit.
• Verifying supplier and forwarder invoices and performing SAP order processing.
• Handling ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

Coordinating incoming orders with customers and suppliers, and managing the shipments to customers.

Liaising with customers for all incoming orders and issuing of Purchase Orders

Monitoring of sales order status for items when order is received and ensuring all requirements for fulfillment of orders are coordinated.

Negotiation with forwarder over rates, liaising with forwarder for import and export shipments of the Company.

Working closely with customers & suppliers, as required regarding shipping matters, building and maintaining good rapport with both parties.

Preparing of Shipping documents & Letter of Credit.

Verification of Supplier & Forwarder Invoices.

Performing order processing activities in SAP

Other adhoc duties as assigned

Technical Skills

• Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering environment


• Microsoft Office & Excel experience


• Familiar with using SAP System
