A leading consulting firm is seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager in the freight forwarding sector. The role involves identifying new clients, managing sales leads, and achieving revenue targets while providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in sales and a strong background in freight forwarding.
Job Scope
• Identify and prospect new business/clients via sales/cold-calling and sales activities.
• Generate new sales leads, contract negotiation and sales closure.
• Responsible for delivering expected sales revenue target and profitability.
• Attend to customers feedback/ complaints and follow up with high-quality after sales services.
• Act as the customers' main point of contact, by liaising closely with the relevant departments to ensure that their queries, problems, or issues are deal with appropriately.
Job Requirements:
• Min. 2 years of Sales / Business Development/ Account management experiences across freight forwarding industry.
• Experience in any vertical market and strong knowledge in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea) is preferred.
• Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales target is a plus.
• Have relevant experiences on operation work in Air or Ocean operation department will be at advantage.
• Fast learner and passion in sales.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and good presentation skills.
Working hours:
Mon to Fri 8.30am - 6pm
