Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Safety Supervisor/Coordinator to conduct daily inspections, identify unsafe acts and conditions, and ensure prompt corrective actions are implemented.

This role supervises all activities to comply with the WSH Act, verifies SWPs and RAs, reports hazards, coordinates with ASM/PSM on high-risk tasks, and maintains contractor safety records. Qualified candidates hold WSQ Advanced Certificate Level B and have at least 2 years’ experience in Singapore construction;

Qualifications

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as Safety Supervisor/Coordinator in Singapore construction.
• Contractor site work experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
• Supervise all work activities to comply with the WSH Act, WSH Regulations and CAG project safety requirements.
• Verify workers follow SWPs and RAs.
• Identify workplace hazards and report during construction activities.
• Recommend and implement appropriate control measures.
• Communicate site hazards, control measures, and safety reminders to workers and site supervisors.
• Supervise high risk activities (lifting operations, work at height, excavations, confined spaces, hot works, demolition, piling).
• Verify contractor Site Safety Records (MSRA Briefing Record, PTW, training records, toolbox meeting records).
• Report unsafe conditions/unsafe acts immediately.
• Contact ASM/PSM for incident updates and work with them to maintain safety.

Requirements:
