The Safety Executive at dnata Singapore Pte Ltd supports the Safety Team in day-to-day operations and helps implement the Safety Management System across the organization to ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and airport requirements.
You will conduct inspections, review processes, and coordinate with departments and service providers to drive safety performance, incident reporting, and corrective actions within the airport context.
The Safety Executive supports the Safety Team in day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Workplace Safety and Health Officer, you will work closely with all departments in the company, including outsourced service providers. You will assist the team to ensure that the Safety Management System (SMS) is implemented and integrated throughout the organization and ensure the company complies with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and Airport requirements.
Assist in reviewing the Safety Management System and consolidating data for Safety Monthly Reporting
Support review of processes and workflows to improve operational effectiveness and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Conduct regular inspections to assess safety performance, identify areas of improvement, and monitor corrective and preventive measures
Monitor and ensure that corrective actions taken are adequate and analyze safety and quality records for adverse trends
Act as Secretary to Safety Action Groups (SAG) to follow up on outstanding issues and liaise with relevant parties on closure
Conduct monthly safety inspections and present findings to stakeholders; carry out investigation for Serious Injury or Fatality (SIF) and SIF potential cases
Ensure respective departments submit incident reports promptly
Ensure risk assessments on work processes, equipment, and workplace are carried out by respective departments and review according to MOM regulations
Ensure Service Providers and Contractors submit Risk Assessments for review before commencement of work
Conduct safety orientation to new employees and contractors before work commencement and support department's assigned role in company's Crisis Management Plan
Minimum Degree or Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution
3 - 5 years of working experience managing safety aspects, preferably in airline or aviation services
Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer (preferable)
Working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISAGO
Experience in safety audits
