Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a production operator in Singapore with a strong safety mindset. The role involves operating and maintaining production equipment, following SOPs, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in the chemical industry, a GCE O’Level or higher, and a forklift license. You will record data in SAP, manage inventories, and contribute to safety and efficiency programs.

Qualifications

• Must be physically/mentally fit for duty, able to lift up to 25 kg.
• GCE O’Level qualification or higher preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant chemical industry experience.
• Familiarity with chemical equipment and hazardous substance handling.
• Valid forklift driving license for vehicles under 5 tons.

Responsibilities

• Strictly follow production procedures, SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain workplace safety by following HSE guidelines and audits.
• Operate and maintain production machinery; perform preventive maintenance.
• Record operational data and checklists in SAP; monitor stock levels.
• Identify deviations and report quality issues promptly; support waste reduction.
