Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a production operator to join its chemical operations team in Singapore. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability, with responsibilities including operating machinery, following SOPs, recording data in SAP, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

A forklift license and relevant chemical-industry experience are preferred, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be physically and mentally fit for duty with ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• GCE O Level qualification or above with 3–5 years in chemical industry preferred.
• Familiar with chemical equipment and hazardous substance handling.
• Valid forklift driving license for vehicles under 5 tons.

Responsibilities

• Strictly follow production procedures, SOPs and supervisor instructions.
• Contribute to workplace safety by following HSE guidelines and audits.
• Operate and maintain production machinery; perform preventive maintenance.
• Record data and checklists in SAP; manage inventories of materials and finished goods.
• Support productivity and waste-reduction programs on the shop floor.
