Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a Safety Officer to enforce Workplace Safety and Health requirements on our high-rise construction sites in Singapore. You will identify unsafe conditions, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions to protect workers' health and safety.

You will liaise with project teams, investigate incidents, deliver safety briefings, and monitor SHE performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B or other relevant safety certificates.
• At least 3 years of working experience in high-rise buildings or LTA projects.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe act on the work site.
• Recommend and assist the occupier to implement reasonable and practicable measures.
• Liaise with different departments on all safety and health matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and other legal requirements.
• Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations.
• Assist in investigating and reporting accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct training/ meetings/ briefings to the workforce.
• Follow up on submission of SHE documents.
• Monitor SHE performance on the work site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Conduct training/ meeting/ briefing/ time-out to the workforce.
• Follow up on submission of SHE documents.
• Monitor the SHE performance in the work site.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B and/or any relevant Safety Certificates.
• With at least 3 years of working experience in high-rise building or LTA projects
• Good interpersonal skills.
• This role may require rotating shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work night shift
• 6 days work week
