Job summary

CHECC(SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a Safety Officer to uphold Workplace Safety and Health standards at the Bayfront site. You will identify unsafe conditions or acts, recommend practicable measures, and liaise with departments on safety matters.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ experience in construction, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with regulations and ongoing safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills.
• With at least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry such as infrastructure or building project.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
• Working Location: Bayfront.

Responsibilities

• Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe act which is carried out in the worksite.
• Recommend and assist the Occupier of the worksite to implement reasonable and practicable measures.
• Liaise with different departments on all safety and health matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and other legislative requirements.
• Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations.
• Assist in the investigations and reporting of accidents/ incidents and recommend corrective and prevetive actions.
• Conduct training/ meeting/ briefing/ time-out to the workforce.
• Follow up on submission of SHE documents.
• Monitor the SHE performance in the worksite.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
