Job summary

TOMRA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer (PXP) to develop local expertise in TOMRA RVM products in Singapore.

You will receive training, coaching, and hands-on experience to become a local product expert, supporting performance, AI recognition, service efficiency, and customer experience. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, troubleshooting, preparing documentation, and collaborating with R&D teams in China to resolve issues and improve product performance.

Qualifications

• Basic technical understanding and motivation to develop into local TOMRA RVM product expert.
• Curious, hands-on, and structured problem-solving approach for technical issues.
• Ability to analyse machine data, service trends, recognition performance, and KPIs to identify root causes.
• Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and product knowledge through TOMRA training.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to technicians, customers, and teams.
• Well-organised, customer-focused, safety-conscious; able to prepare clear documentation and incident summaries.
• Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin for regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and follow-up for TOMRA RVM products to grow local expertise.
• Prepare fault documentation and manage service desk cases with R&D in China.
• Support use of AI recognition, TRMS backoffice, config files, and local parameters for operations.
• Monitor machine performance and service trends; assist with corrective and preventive improvements.
• Prepare and improve user guides, checklists, training material, and technical instructions.
• Assist deployments, pilot installations, and product introductions with market and product knowledge.
