Ashford Benjamin Ltd. is seeking a Rust Software Engineer (Core & Platform) to build and scale the core infrastructure powering our HFT operations in Singapore.

The role emphasizes traditional finance discipline, exchange connectivity, and ultra-low latency trading systems across on-chain and traditional markets. Open to candidates with strong C++ or Java backgrounds who are willing to learn Rust on the job.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and maintaining low-latency trading systems.
• Proficiency in Rust or C++ (open to strong C++/Java candidates willing to learn Rust).
• Experience integrating with exchange/broker APIs, order management systems, pricing and risk engines.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and self-starter in rapidly evolving environments.
• Experience in high-performance, latency-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput trading systems to support algorithmic trading strategies.
• Build and maintain robust connectivity with exchanges and protocols for reliable transaction processing.
• Develop core components for trade execution, order management, and real-time market data.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, tuning, and architectural improvements for ultra-fast execution.
• Collaborate with quantitative traders to translate trading ideas into production-grade systems.
• Contribute to flexible architectures to support growing trading volumes and evolving opportunities.
• Ensure operational stability and uptime in a latency-sensitive trading environment.
