Job summary

BAH Partners in Singapore is seeking a Rust Engineer to build high-performance, trade-management systems for a leading hedge fund. This hands-on role focuses on performance, scalability, and modern distributed systems within Operations Technology.

You will design and implement multi-threaded trading systems in Rust, develop distributed microservices, and optimize latency, memory, and AWS infrastructure using Rust and C#/.NET in a cloud-based stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Rust, Java or C#/.NET and concurrent programming.
• Experience building distributed systems using REST/gRPC, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
• Must have previous exposure in financial markets or trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance, multi-threaded trading systems using Rust
• Develop and support distributed microservices across mission-critical trading platforms
• Optimise latency, memory usage, and AWS infrastructure to improve performance and reduce costs
