Job summary

Ambition Singapore is seeking a talented Rust and C# Engineer to build the next generation of trade management systems. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance trading applications in Rust while integrating with C#/.NET environments to deliver seamless system integration.

The role requires 5+ years of software engineering, strong Rust, C#, and SQL skills, plus familiarity with AWS serverless and DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience in Rust.
• Good experience in C# and .NET Core development.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL databases.
• Proficient in AWS serverless technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (JIRA, Git, Jenkins).
• Exposure to financial markets (e.g., FIX protocol, Fixed Income, Commodities, International Equities) is a plus.
• Understanding of the post-trade lifecycle processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading applications in Rust while integrating with C#/.NET environments.
• Collaborate across globally distributed engineering teams to deliver system integrations and platform enhancements.
• Take ownership of mission-critical components from design through deployment and support.
