Ashford Benjamin Ltd. is seeking a Rust Software Engineer (Core & Platform) to build and scale the core infrastructure powering our HFT operations in Singapore.
The role emphasizes traditional finance discipline, exchange connectivity, and ultra-low latency trading systems across on-chain and traditional markets. Open to candidates with strong C++ or Java backgrounds who are willing to learn Rust on the job.
My client is a Singapore-based, founder-backed proprietary trading and market making firm. They are specialists in HFT and liquidity provision in digital markets and are now investing heavily in building a robust, institutional-grade trading technology platform. The culture is tight-knit, pro-AI, international, highly technical, and collaborative—traders, quants, and engineers sit together, iterate quickly, and favor direct decision‑making over layers of management.
We are seeking a Rust Software Engineer (Core & Platform) to join the team and play a key role in building and scaling the core infrastructure that powers their HFT operations. This role is ideal for engineers from traditional finance (equities, futures, options) who want to import the discipline of mature exchange/broker‑dealer architectures—risk engines, credit and collateral controls, reliability and latency engineering—into a new platform, rather than approaching it as a typical “crypto tech” project. You will work closely with traders, quants, and fellow engineers to design and implement high‑performance systems that execute seamlessly across on‑chain and traditional financial markets. Open to candidates with strong C++ or Java backgrounds who are willing to learn Rust on the job.
