Job summary

PASSION E&C SG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Responsible Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee civil and structural works, ensuring compliance and timely execution on-site.

The role requires RTO accreditation by IES and/or ACES, and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least five years of engineering experience, and strong organizing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• The RTO must be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide endorsements required by relevant authorities.
• Supervise civil and structural works, both permanent and temporary.
• Ensure contractor has obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions and preventive measures are implemented to protect surrounding structures.
• Review, evaluate and assess formwork structures and formwork support systems.
• Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Supervise installation of instrumentation.
• Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations and pump drainage works.
• Review, evaluate and assess instrumentation monitoring and interpretation of results; provide analyses.
• Review the Contractor's design and supervise all works.

• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Job Description & Requirements
