Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) seeks a senior software architect to build a scalable robotic manipulation platform, transforming bin-picking tech into a deployable product for global manufacturing rollout.

You will lead internalization, standardization, and productization, establishing architecture standards and driving global deployment across factories and robotic cells. Strong robotics software background essential, with ROS and industrial protocols expertise.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Robotics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline, with 3+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in software architecture or robotics software development.
• Proficiency with industrial automation protocols like OPC UA and PROFINET.
• Programming industrial robotic manipulators using C/C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall architecture of the robotic manipulation software platform.
• Transform project-specific software into a reusable configurable product.
• Establish software architecture standards, coding guidelines, and development frameworks.
• Drive modularization and standardization for global deployment.
• Design scalable infrastructure supporting multiple factories, part families, and robotic cells.
• Architect end-to-end robotic manipulation pipelines (vision, pose estimation, grasp planning, motion planning, execution).
• Design scalable MLOps workflows for data management, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop deployment strategies for global factory rollouts.
• Create architecture documentation and best practices.
• Support technology transfer to regional engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and evaluate robotics/AI technologies.
