Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Robotics Engineer to design and develop control systems enabling interaction with UAVs. The role resides in the R&D team of a drone technology company focused on niche R&D and a wide range of drone services.

The candidate will translate user needs into clear design requirements, validate algorithms, and work with cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, ROS, and related tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Robotics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in robotics/UAV systems.
• Strong programming in C/C++ and Python with Git/bash.
• Solid knowledge of Kalman filtering and PID control.
• Experience with ROS, Ubuntu and OpenCV.
• Familiar with PX4 and ArduPilot.
• Debugging hardware and software integration.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in the robotics field/UAV system.
• Strong command of C/C++ and Python, with working knowledge of Git and bash.
• Solid grounding in advanced control and filtering (Kalman filter, PID).
• Habit of writing clean, readable, modular code.
• Teamwork, adaptability and the ability to juggle several tasks.
• Familiarity with ROS, Ubuntu and OpenCV.
• Kotlin and Android app development.
• PX4 and ArduPilot.
• Advanced control methods such as LQR or MPC.
• Classical machine learning and deep learning.
• Debugging and working with electrical and mechanical hardware.
