PERSOL is seeking a Junior UAV Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will help design, develop, and test drone electronic systems, with a hands-on role in hardware integration and debugging.
The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate or junior engineer with a solid foundation in electronics, embedded systems, and C/C++ programming, eager to learn UAV platforms and hardware-software integration within a dynamic aerospace environment.
We are looking for a Junior UAV Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team and work on the design, development, integration, and testing of drone/UAV electronic systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or junior engineers with a strong foundation in electronics, hardware design, embedded systems, and programming who are passionate about drones and emerging technology.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop electronic hardware for UAVs, including power distribution, sensor interfaces, communication modules, and control electronics
Integrate flight controllers, ESCs, motors, GPS, telemetry systems, cameras, gimbals, and mission payloads
Develop and review schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, and connector interfaces
Perform power budgeting, battery management, grounding, signal integrity, and basic EMI/EMC considerations
Support embedded system bring-up, hardware debugging, and hardware-software integration
Conduct laboratory and flight testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, and functionality
Troubleshoot electronic and hardware issues and recommend corrective actions
Support component selection, BOM management, component availability, and supplier coordination
Prepare technical documentation including test reports, design documents, interface specifications, and engineering records
Support compliance with relevant regulatory, quality, and safety requirements
Work closely with engineering and technical teams to improve UAV system performance and reliability
Job Requirements:
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline
Candidate without experience may apply as training will be provided
Strong understanding of basic electronics and electronic circuit design principles
Knowledge of sensors, power distribution, communication modules, and control electronics
Basic experience with soldering electronic components onto PCBs/PCBAs or test boards
Knowledge or interest in UAV/drone systems and architecture will be an advantage
Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, Python, or similar languages is an advantage
Work hands-on with UAV and drone technology.
