Job summary

NANOVEU PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Drone Field Engineer to design, integrate, and support drone systems in collaboration with internal teams and external partners for project goals and safe operations.

You will perform on-site deployments, flight operations, testing, maintenance, and data collection, with travel to deployment sites as required. Diploma/degree in engineering or related field preferred; UAPL experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid UAPL and drone operation experience preferred.
• Hands-on drone integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently in field and office.
• Willingness to travel for site deployments.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and Technical Development: Design, develop, and integrate drone systems with internal teams and external collaborators to achieve project objectives.
• Field Engineering Support: Support on-site deployment, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of UAS platforms and payloads to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Flight Operations: Act as Pilot-in-Command for commercial drone operations, including flight planning, site assessments, data acquisition, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety procedures.
• Testing & Data Collection: Plan and execute flight tests, including system setup, calibration, data collection and performance validation.
• Risk Assessment & Reporting: Perform pre-flight inspections, risk assessments, post-flight reporting, and maintain flight records and operational documentation.
• Project Support: Coordinate with project stakeholders during field operations and contribute to the continuous improvements of system performance and operational readiness.
• Maintenance: Maintain aircraft, batteries, payloads and supporting equipment in operational condition.

• Ability to work independently in both field and office environments.
• Willingness to travel for site deployments and flight operations.
